Tom Ndebele

Tom is a contracted part-time Resource Economist for NZCEE working on the projects ‘Iwi Ecosystem Services’ and ‘Sustainable Pathways’. His research interest is Ecosystem Services Valuations, Economic-Environment interactions and policy for sustainable development.

Tom is currently a MPhil candidate with Massey University. His Thesis topic is “Non-market Valuation Techniques: Theory and Application to Ecosystem Services.”

Prior to joining NZCEE, Tom worked for the Reserve Bank of Zimbabwe for 14 years where he worked in the area of Exchange Control Assessments, Banking Supervision, and Export Policy.

Tom holds a BSc Honors Degree in Economics and a Post Graduate Diploma in Business and Administration with a major in Economics.
