Dr Garry McDonald
Garry is a contracted Principal Analyst for NZCEE. NZCEE projects that Garry works on include scenario modeling for Auckland, ecological footprinting, genuine progress indicator, and the analysis of the sustainability of primary industries. He has over 12 years of experience as a consultant in economic, social, and environmental impact assessment. During this time he has undertaken a wide range of project/policy evaluation and feasibility studies for commercial and public sector clients.
His research interests have focused on the integration of the social, economic and environmental dimensions of sustainability, particularly as applied in the urban context. This includes specific applied interests in ecological economics, environmental accounting, ecological footprinting and the development of resource management decision support tools
